Does life sometimes feel like a struggle? Do you sometimes feel lost, confused, overwhelmed, or ‘stuck’? Do you want to change things but feel unsure how or where to begin? You don’t have to cope alone.
We all find life difficult at times; we all occasionally need support. Counselling can help redress life’s imbalance, improve mental health, increase wellbeing.
I am a mature, experienced counsellor, providing safe, reliable counselling in a well-established counselling practice in Totnes. I offer warmth, acceptance and understanding and a professional approach.
I place emphasis on the importance of the relationship between therapist and client. Holding you at the centre of our work together, I can offer my time to work closely alongside you, look at what’s troubling you and help make sense of things.
My counselling practice is based in a designated, private garden-room in a quiet residential cul-de-sac near the centre of Totnes, with convenient off-road parking. From here I offer a calm, peaceful space where you can talk through your thoughts and feelings confidentially, without feeling judged.
I offer long or short-term counselling for adults & young people in Totnes, surrounding villages & nearby towns of Buckfastleigh, Ashburton, South Brent, Newton Abbot and Torbay.
I have much experience of helping people with a broad range of life’s challenges and personal issues including:
When life becomes difficult, it can sometimes be easier to talk to someone who is not personally involved…
It can help to have someone to talk to who isn’t a friend or relative, but who holds your best interests at heart.
I will acknowledge and value your unique perspective and work with you to help you gain a clearer insight and understanding.
Working with you, I aim to build a relationship of trust, acceptance and respect for who you are.
I won’t give you advice, but I will work together with you, at your own pace.
I’m a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and I follow their ethical guidelines.
