Why Counselling?

From time to time we all face difficult periods in life. You need not feel alone in this. Counselling provides space and support for you to talk and be listened to without being judged. It provides time for you to explore the things that are affecting your life within the safety of a confidential relationship.

It offers the possibility of change...

You may be having problems to do with work, family or relationships; you may be experiencing grief and loss; you may be suffering with depression, anxiety, stress or other challenges.

Counselling gives you an opportunity to talk through your thoughts and feelings and work through areas of your life that are troubling you. It can help you gain a greater understanding of yourself, your relationships or other difficulties within a confidential, supportive relationship

Although not personally involved in your life, I can offer you my time, in a safe, non-judgemental space where we can explore together whatever is concerning you.

Sometimes it can be helpful to explore past experiences and relationships; these can often affect the way you think or relate to others in the present. Beginning to understand how present difficulties may be linked to past relationships or events can enable you to make positive changes in your life.
